Fire In The Sky by jasontalbott Fire In The Sky by jasontalbott
This is not a photo manipulation. I happen to see these dyed sunflowers and bought some with the idea in mind of making a shot like this. This is a baby vield chameleon. You can tell its size by the fiber on the stem of the sunflower turned sideways for the shot. I used a light pointing directly at it and also a Nikon sb-700 flash with a vello chord to light it different ways to see if I could find an effect I like.

This photo is copyrighted so do not use.

I can make prints available to those interested. Just send a note. Thanks! And thanks for looking.

This picture would almost suck if it was in B&W.. what I am trying to say is: THOSE COLORS ARE STUNNING AND QUITE VIBRANT! I don't know if that contrast was intended or not, but the result is amazing; I love the contrast between red and greed.

Great, unique shot, with such vivid colors. I am curious - would you mind describing the set up and any post-production? I'm trying to learn to take better, more interesting photos.
